Dan Seidman has been involved in high-impact sales and marketing for
privately run companies since 1980. He is an early adopter of the
Internet, selling for the first Internet job site, Online Career Center
in 1993. Dan took his extensive sales management and training expertise
online in '99. He currently manages the widely publicized website of
selling disasters, SalesAutopsy.com. Sales & Marketing Management
Magazine calls the site "a cult hit among sales folks.
The
website has garnered massive amounts of publicity over the last two
years. This has led to international recognition in the sales and
marketing community. His sales stories have been featured in business
publications and trade magazines worldwide.
Dan invests his
business life in speaking to entrepreneurs, sales professionals and
executives about these amusing, lesson-filled sales horror stories.
He is a regular writer for Independent Agent Magazine.
On the personal side, Dan enjoys scuba diving and competes in World
Master's Sports, where he is a two-time gold medalist in basketball,
playing on a U.S. team.
He also volunteers on the
Web advisory board for the Willow Creek Association and the board of
Sales and Marketing Executives of Chicago.
He lives in
Inverness, Illinois with his precious wife, Wendy and their
near-perfect son, Joshua. Twin girls were recently discovered at his
residence. They're being referred to as Abigail and Rebekah.
